Transport & Logistics
Updated: Sep 16
Regarding the new lockdowns we want to assure all customers that we are still delivering to all areas as normal, The transport & logistics sector is exempt to any border closures across Australia as it is classified as an essential service.
Once border closures come into effect, there are forms in which transport companies need to apply for to get exemption to these closures to ensure they can keep operating between states.
Applying for these exemption are not an issue & we have spoken with our providers who handle freight into NSW which are all prepared for the new lockdown measures coming into place.
This is not new territory for Victoria, we have already come across border closures with SA, TAS, WA, NT & QLD for a couple of weeks now already, in which there has been no effect to the transport & logistics industry.”
